Rimfire Lodge at Snowshoe Mountain
The Rimfire Lodge is in the heart of the Village at Snowshoe. No shuttle busses to stand in line for and everything from shopping to dining to entertainment is literally right outside your door.
A big bonus that Rimfire has over other lodging options in the village is that it is one of two buildings that has underground parking for guests. One cannot overestimate the convenience of taking the elevator or stairs right to your ice-free car!
If you like to sit in the hot tub after a long day of carving powder or mountain biking, Rimfire Lodge has the best hot tubs in the village. Located outside with glorious views of the mountains, particularly at sunset, it is the perfect place to unwind.
Finally, although Rimfire Lodge is not truly slopeside, it is only 50 yards walk (if that) to slopes. That 50 yard difference will save you a bundle on lodging. And often, if it has been snowing during the day, you can ski back to your door, so you get at least half of that ski-in/ski-out glory.
